By winning, Brock qualified for the 2008 TaylorMade-adidas Golf PGA Assistant Championship, Oct. 30-Nov. 2, 2008, at The PGA Golf Club (Wanamaker Course) in Brock, age 25, posted a final-round 72 for a tournament total of 141 and a 3-stroke victory over Chase Brannon (Nashville) of Richland Country Club. “I’m excited for the qualifying position”, said Brannon, the assistant at Richland Country Club. The winner of the 2008 TaylorMade-adidas Golf PGA Assistant Championship earns $9,000 out of the purse of $100,000. Top-70 finishers after the second round, including ties will make the cut.
