The Official Website of the Tennessee Golf Association, Tennessee Section of the PGA of America and the Tennessee Golf Foundation

The Honors Course & Council Fire Pro-Am was started in the early nineties as an effort to support the Tennessee Golf Foundation and its creation of Golf House Tennessee.  Over the past 15 years $800,000 has been raised with this two-day pro-am.  After the completion of Golf House, more emphasis and fundraising was needed for Chattanooga junior golf programs and the pro-am funding was reallocated to those needs. Currently the First Tee of Chattanooga has over 500 children in its programs and just broke ground, with the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga, in cooperation with the City of Chattanooga, for the First Tee homesite and UTC men’s and women’s golf team practice facility. The site is located on the property that formerly was Hickory Valley Golf Course, owned and operated by the Dan Tribble family.
