Today, kicked off the inaugural Callaway Pro-Pro Scramble. 64 Tennessee PGA Professionals from Knoxville to Memphis teed it up at Temple Hills Country Club. The players tried to match the scorching hot conditions by playing some great golf and turning in some “hot” scores. The two person scramble set the disposition for the day. A fun relaxed atmosphere along with great golf with comrades made for a very enjoyable day.

Congratulations Scott Masters and Jake Reeves who shot a stellar 58 (-14 under). Masters out of Fox Den Country Club paired up with Reeves from Landmark of Avalon to form this all-star team. Coming in second was Keith Burdette and Josh Coley who finished one shot off the lead at 59 (-13 under).

Going along with the setting for the day we had some great prizes for all of the Par 3 holes. Closest to the hole sponsors include Callaway who sponsored two holes, Golf Pride, and Bonterra Vineyards. Congratulations to teams Sid Johnson/Aaron Clark, Randy Helton/Jimbo Hicks, Eric Brown/Graham Honeycutt, and Scott Masters/Jake Reeves for knocking it the closest for this fun competition.  There was also an Odyssey Putting Challenge before play.  Brian Wood from Spring Creek Ranch in Memphis won making two out of three putts for a score of 4.
