Bonnie Blackburn Girls Golf Fest April 27-29, 2007 Golf House Tennessee
Seventy-one junior girls, ages 7-17, participated in this year's BBGGF at Golf House Tennessee in Franklin, TN. One of the best year's to date, BBGGF featured an all-female staff with an "A-List" of instructors that included LPGA & PGA Members and College & University Coaches, Tennessee Golf Association Women's and Junior Golf Tournament Directors, Golf Sales Representatives, and College & University women's golf team members from Belmont University, Lipsomb University, and Austin Peay University. BBGGF is more than just golf. This year featured a segment on nutrition that included the girls making their own snack mixes and smoothies. The girls also participate in various golf games and golf skills challenges, as well as play The Little Course at Conner Lane, Golf House Tennessee's nine-hole, par 3 course. BBGGF is always an exciting weekend and it is rewarding for all of the staff to see each girl take so much away from a short weekend of activities. These girls are able to build relationships that will likely last throughout their lives. The BBGGF staff looks forward to seeing you in 2008!
